Why are little kids getting cell phones?
I mean, it's crazy! I see these 6 year olds when I pick my sister up from elementary school. And not $50 phones, I mean brand new iPhone 7's! I got mine (iPhone 5s) because it was part of a deal with the carrier and because I was walking a couple miles home every day. But I see little kids getting phones for no reason! They don't walk home and don't go out by themselves. Why?

Newer generations are becoming more spoiled than ever. No one is entertained by a little old doll or action figure anymore, and since parents want their kids to be happy, they get them what they want, which would be the latest and greatest phones.
I know ffour year olds can open up apps now. Times change.
Maybe bc the parents don't have time to spend with them, and try to buy their love instead.

Hi yes we know sadly frying a young brain before they can even talk properly. Some parents will give in to just about anything for a quiet life. We have yet to hear about how dangerous microwave radio signals are to a persons brain.

- Why do so many kids have phones? I'm 15 with a flip phone and I'm not even complaining. There's kids at my school with the latest iPhones and a lot of them don't even pay for it. My mom won't let me buy any phone I want until I'm 18. Is she strict or are these parents just spoiling them?
- Why do so many kids have iphones, blackberrys, and smart phones? I mean little kids as young as 5 years old. It really does annoy me because they are little and don't need a really expensive phone just for emergencies. I always see them on the phones and ipods. My brother is almost in middle school and has the cheapest phone. And i'm in highschool and my phone is nowhere near the expesive phones the elementary kids have infact my phone is used so i got for free.
- Why do people go crazy over the iPhone and other expensive cell phones? Some of those phones cost more than rent. I've never understood why someone would pay over $100 for a phone.
- Who do little kids have iPhones? Like, I can understand getting a cell phone for contacting your parents or even just occasionally texting your friends- when you're, like, 13 or older. But 7 year olds do NOT need phones AT All unless their parents are divorced and they do a lot of back and forth or something like that. And certainly not iPhone 5's! Am I insane for thinking this? What the heck ever happened to good old Candy Land, why are little kids doing on Instagram and Facebook?
