Laptop will not connect to Wi-Fi? - 1
My laptop Wi-Fi connection says "limited" when i use it with my modem at home. I took the laptop to geeksquad and it connect to the internet no problem. What is the problem? Computer will connect to internet using another connection but not the one at home. I also have an ipad and iphone that connect to the home network just fine. My laptop is a samsung and modem Motorola.
>Check if you r entering correct security key and try again
>if still same disable/enable wireless icon and try connecting to network, if still same
>use same security key and connect and if says limited try assigning a static ip address, subnet and default gateway in range of your Wi-Fi router from wireless connection properties ->ipv4 properties
>after assigning static ip, if says connected check internet connection
hope it helps
- Why does my Wi-Fi connect to my ipad and iphone but not my laptop? My Wi-Fi on my laptop will say its connecting but then doesn't. It says my cord is broken or not plugged in but I've checked it and there's nothing wrong. My Wi-Fi connects fine to my iPad and iPhone. Not understanding why it won't connect to my laptop anymore.
- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
- My laptop will not connect to Wi-Fi I have a HP Envy dv6 running on Windows 8 pro & it will not connect to Wi-Fi. It says "Wi-Fi doesn't have a valid IP configuration" every time I try to connect. My iphone & ipad connects just fine. Its only my laptop. I've tried resetting the router & rebooting the computer several time. It allowed me to connect fine with a ethernet cable. I just can't connect wirelessly. Can anybody help?
