Added (1). Also it would have been soapy water, and I played the find my iPhone sound, and it was still pinging when I took it out, i don't know if that's a good sign or not?
Isn't the iPhone supposed to be able to withstand up to 30 minutes in water that's up to 1 meter deep.
If it's only 5 minutes, you shouldn't have to put it on rice.
Anyway, if you insist on putting it in rice, do it for at least a week.
- Will my iphone be ok over night till i dry it out in rice? I won't be able to dry it out till tomorrow. I dropped it in a bucket of water. Will it still work?
- Uncooked rice grain wedged in charger port iphone 5s? I tried the rice trick on my wet iphone, the phone is now working fine except a piece of rice is wedged RIGHT at the bottom of the charger hole. Tweezers, knife, pin, vacuum cleaner are not able to get it out. Will Apple be able to get it out because I can't even see the grain of rice anymore and the charger does not work.
