Left Speaker On Brandnew IPhone 4S Doesn't Work?

My Mom Recently Bought Me A Verizon IPhone 4S Which Was brand New Rite Out Of The Box…
Today While Listening To My IPhone On The Speakers I Came To Find The Left One Does Not Work… I Have Put My Finger Over The Right To See If The Left One Works And It Does Not… I Was Wondering If Any Of You Have Had The Same Problem With Your IPhone 4S. If So What should I do?

  • Why is my iPhone's left speaker (for sound) not working? I had recently damaged my phone by dropping it on pavement (approximately 3 feet), and it slid about 20 feet. Just today, I noticed the the left speaker on the bottom of the phone is not working. I have a feeling that it's not working because of the impact of the phone falling (I had a snap-on case at the time).Is there any way for it to get fixed without replacing the whole phone?
