Lost iphone, can i get new one under same number?
If I lost my iPhone, would I be able to get a new iPhone with the SAME phone number? Or would I need to get a new number along with the new phone?
I'm pretty sure you can call your current phone plan (rogers, telus, etc) and deactivate your phone. Once your phone is deactivated, you should be able to use the same number.
Yep. You just tell the phone company you want to port your old number over.
You can also use the same number. But maybe there are not address book in the number.

- Why does my new iPhone 5c shows my old number under messages option? I'm trying to activate my iMessage, but I want to send & receive as my current number. However, my new, current number is not appearing. It shows my old number. I'm assuming its because I backed up my phone on my itunes to get my contacts back, But how can I fix this so it could show my current number instead of my old number that I'm not using anymore.
- If I broke my iPhone can use the same SIM card for my new one? I broke my iPhone but I saved my SIM card to keep my number thinking i could just insert it into my new one that I bought on eBay unlocked but once I did it said no service. Does this mean I have to get a new SIM card?
- I have iPhone under insurance and contract with at&t, how to get a new one? If i have iPhone 5 with At&t contract under insurance and i did not lost it and i want to get another one how to get it? Should i unlock it or jailbreak or take it out of USA?
- How to transfer my number to my new iPhone from my old one since I didn't get a serial number? I had an iPhone 5 that got damaged so I had to get a new one from the Apple store. I use Straight Talk and it says on their website that I have an incorrect serial number. The Apple store didn't give me one and the serial number that's in my new phone doesn't work. Straight Talk says to use the serial number from the card that is given to you, but I didn't get a card.
