Lost my Iphone bought a new one?
I lost my Iphone but bought a new one from a friend. We both have the same company At&t how do i activate it? He has a sim card in it can I use his, because he got a new phone. I just want to know if I could add this phone to the contract i'm using right now… Thanks
Why ask us instead of AT&T?
You can do whatever you like, but you need to get a new SIM card from the carrier. You can't use his… In fact, he has to use it in his new phone, unless they gave him a new one, which would deactivate the old one.
You need to contact the carrier or visit one of their locations, get a new SIM card, and put it in the phone. That's it.
Why not call the service provider to get back your lost phone.
Yes, you can. By the way, if you bought your phone in AT&T Store, why not call them for help when your phone is lost? Some anti-theft or monitoring program may be useful in such cases such as loss or theft. You can have a try in the future.
