My canon rebel t3 eos is stuck
Okay so I went to take a picture of the super moon today with my camera since iPhone cameras are kind of sucky for those type of pictures, but when I went to get my camera I forgot it was dead and needed a charge. I figured, 'no problem I'll just take the battery out and-' but nope. The little slider button at the bottom of my camera refuses to open the compartment that leads to my memory card and battery (that needs to be charged) I can slide normally but it won't open?! Please tell me if there's anything I can do, I really don't want to have to get a new camera…
Without power, your camera will not operate.
You may must need to use something to assist the door to open once you have moved the sliding "button".
Usually, the spring in the door will do this for you. Hopefully leaving the battery discharged for many days has not caused the battery to leak.
It is very important that Li-ion batteries NOT be left fully discharged. This can lead to premature failure of the battery and maybe even leakage which will cause serious damage to the camera
If you are still not able to open the cameras battery door, take it to a proper camera shop or camera repair shop and see what they can do
Normally that little slider moves aside without any problem. Can't figure why your would stick so firmly.Push the battery down slightly as you move the slider.
Try again and be firm without forcing it. If still no luck, then take it to a camera repair centre.
Sorry you missed the super moon, I did too. If my battery compartment door didn't pop open, I would make sure the slider button was in the unlock position and then try to pry the door open with my fingernail. If it took anything strong than that, I would try a camera shop.
- Wireless remote for canon rebel t5i? Using Eye-fi? I recently bought a Canon Rebel t5i and an Eye-fi SD card. The card produces Wi-Fi and automatically syncs the pictures I take on the camera to my iphone. I know other canon cameras with built-in Wi-Fi allow you to view what the lens sees from your smart phone, and use it as a hi-tech remote, where you can change the settings. I can't find anything in the instruction manual or internet. Someone please help! Am i able to do this with the eye-fi card? If so, how and what app?
- Should I buy an Iphone 5 or a Canon camera? I want to take good quality pictures. I'm not very photogenic and I really want to take good pictures. I have a digital cam but i look fugly.
- Is the Canon T3i Rebel worth it? So, i make YouTube videos, and i currently use my iphone 4s to film, and i use imovie 09 to edit the video. Now, what i wanna ask is, is it worth it to buy a Canon T3i Rebel, or should i just stick with my iphone? Is the difference worth it?
