My contacts are blurry up close?

I'm using my iPhone and watching tv… Tv is perfectly clear… But the iPhone is really blurry cuz it's up close… I just got these contacts yesterday… Please help

Classic symptoms of the need for bifocal lenses. The problem you have is a lack of flexibility in the cornea. You can focus at one distance but not at another and THAT means bifocal lenses. Many people notice one day that some things are fuzzy and some things are not. They can read street signs but not the newspaper (farsighted) or read the newspaper and not street signs (nearsighted). Bifocals work by adding the corrective lens to whichever is blurry. For me, I'm nearsighted. I can read just fine, but at more than 3 feet, things get blurred fast. I've worn glasses since I was old enough to form a sentence. My glasses corrected my vision to see far things. Recently, I was having more and more trouble with near things with my glasses. I could read just fine without my glasses. That told me my eyes had changed toward the farsighted side. And that meant bifocals, one part of the lens for close and the other part of the lens for far. It IS possible for contacts to be "graduated" so the lens is different in the center than at the edge, which gives the same effect and my two part bifocal lenses.

It doesn't mean you need bifocals most likely, it just means you are over corrected with your contacts on. They are a bit too strong for you.

If you are under, say… 38/39 years old… Then they are just too strong for you.

Tell whoever fit you with them what is happening. They will have to back the power off most likely just a 0.25, but possibly 0.50 depending on how strong your lenses are.

EDIT***

Rowlfie… It isn't the cornea that loses flexibility, it's the lens of the eye that does that in the over 40 crowd.

  • Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
  • Pinch to close app like iPhone? Is there any download I can get to make my Sony tablet s close apps like on the iPad where you pinch 5 fingers together I mean I pad. Stupid auto correct
  • My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
  • Just got my first iPhone, how do I close apps to save battery? I have always had android phones and last had the htc evo. I always had an app/widget called task killer that I would tap and it would close all my running apps. Today I got my first iPhone 4 and see there are no such apps however I know I have a ton of things running, how can I close them out/save battery?
