My gps will NOT work on my iPhone 6?

I bought a "referbished" iPhone 6 and its gps can't locate me on Any app. I've done All of the troubleshooting that I found to do online. Network reset, soft reset, factory reset, made sure location was on etc…

Even took it to the Apple Store and they have no idea how to fix it.
Does anyone have any ideas that I haven't thought of?

GPS antenna is broken or maybe "location services" is turned off.

Refurbished or USED? You will get a refurbished iPhone from Apple, if you get it anywhere is it is just USED.

The difference is (according to Apple), is they inspect, repair and test the phone, to make sure it is working properly. Places like many of the mom and pop repair shops, wipe them down, turn them on and if it lights up, it's all good to them.

If you got it off eBay or Craigslist, who knows where it came from and why it's being gotten rid of.

  • Why doesn't my gps work in New York? So I was in New York a few days ago and when I was in Manhattan I tried to get to times square. My cars gps, my galaxy s4 gps and my friends iphone had the same problem. The gps would tell me to go the opposite route then halfway go another direction. Could this problem happen because I was roaming? Or is new York that big that it causes gps's to break?
  • If my iPhone is being tracked by GPS not using any apps, how do I turn it off from my phone? Can I just turn off my location services or do I have to do something else? Will putting my phone on airplane mode do the trick? (the gps system is not using cellular data)
  • If I put my iPhone in airplane mode with Wi-Fi on, will the GPS work? I'm traveling abroad and would like to geotag my photos, but I don't want to incur data charges. If I turn on Wi-Fi but leave the iPhone in airplane mode, will the GPS work properly?
  • I Turn Off The GPS on iPhone 5/iPhone 4S can it still be tracked? Okay so i'm 17 and my sister is 16, i have the iPhone 5 and she has the 4S. My parents are strict and smother us, and we like to have space and like to go out. So sometimes we leave at night. We like to have fun and got out. But iPhones are trackable right? So if we turn the iPhone gps and any other gps apps off can it still be tracked?
