My iPhone 4 has the iPhone 4s design?
I bought an iPhone 4 before school started in September, and I was fine, because it's a smartphone and I'm okay with that. But recently, my cousins who are very good with technology noticed that my iPhone 4 had an iPhone 4s design, but with a iPhone 4 model number. Should I call them up to just see what's wrong?

You probably bought an android by mistake. Android copied the iPhone 4S design, so it would look like a 4S, but their serial numbering system is different, so it might have the same number as the iPhone 4 models.
The two versions are very similar externally.
You can check the model number yourself though:
The GSM iPhone 4 is A1332, the CDMA iPhone 4 is A1349, the global iPhone 4S is A1387, and the China-only iPhone 4S is A1431.
But: if by 4S design, they are referring to the four breaks in the silver band, the CDMA version of the 4 also has four of those breaks.
So my guess is your model number is A1349 and you do have a iPhone 4.
