My iphone 4 is in recovery mode and iTunes doesn't detect it?
Added (1). My power button doesn't work so I can't hold the home and power button. My iTunes is up to date along with my laptop (Windows 8,) and I tried restarting rebooting both my phone and my laptop. Nothing is working, what do?
Well your kind of in a sticky situation. Try a different USB cable and try different ports on your laptop. It could be a windows 8 issues because I had that issue where I could not download my drivers for my apple products. Just about the only thing I can think of you doing is opening up your phone and taking out the battery and putting it back in. It's a lot simpler than it seems. Just unscrew the two bottom screws and slide the back of your phone up and take the back off. Follow the cable on the bottom of the battery to the silver piece. Unscrew the screw there and just unplug the battery. You don't have to take out the battery. Just unplug it and put it back in. I'll leave a link for a video. If you could leave a comment in the description what the issue is with windows 8 and what exactly it's doing iIl get back to you. Remember that you only have to unplug the battery you don't have to take it out.
