My Iphone 4s was stolen, It's turned off, what should I do?
I had Find my Iphone turned on, and location services, also cellular data. I have a pass code so it's not like he can mess with the settings. The problem is it's turned off. Is there any way to track it from its last known location? Track it while it's off? What should I do?
Keep on tracking the phone every few minutes, the person that stole it from you will eventually turn it on, also if you're with Verizon or sprint report it stolen immediately so he doesn't rank up your phone bill.
You can log onto "Find My iPhone" and set a passcode lock on top of your current lock. When you do so, it will have an option to alert you as soon as it is turned back on. That alert will also tell you the location. Once that other passcode is activated (when it connects to the cellular network) then they won't be able to turn it off without entering in the passcode. Remember to use a passcode that isn't the same as your main passcode on the device itself! That way if they get through one, they won't easily get through the other. Best of luck!
- Should I have iMessage turned on or off? I just got an iPhone 5c, I've never had a smartphone before. I just recently turned my iMessage ON as well as still keeping SMS ON. I'm a little confused and concerned. My boyfriend doesn't have an iPhone so will he still receive my texts since I have them both on? Is it better to have iMessage on or off? I have Sprint which I believe has unlimited data… Sorry I'm bad at this smartphone life lol.
- My iPhone turned off by itself and turned back on while using a app? When I was on YouTube my phone just shutted off by itself then turned on. Is there something wrong with the phone. Also when I click my home button one time the phone sometimes wouldnt come on till the second click. What can I do?
- My iphone 4 froze, screen turned green and turned off? I was playing a game i regularly play when it froze. I let it sit there for a couple minutes, I pressed the home button and the screen turned green, It was green for a minute. It shut off and won't turn on. I plugged it into the charger 20 mins ago and still no response. Also, my power button broke a whille ago. What can i do? Keep it plugged in until it turns on or should i unplug it for a couple days?
- IPhone 6 got wet, turned itself off, but is not hot, what should i do? So my kayak turned over and my iPhone got wet. I took it out and as I was trying to turn it off it froze then turned off. I tried to dry it off and get the water out of the cavities, and now it is front of a fan. I didn't put it in rice because I heard that's a myth. It is not hot to the touch and was never hot, so that is a good sign. Does anyone have any personal experience with this or know what to do?
