My iPhone 4S won't work overseas?
I have a contract with T-Mobile on EE in the United Kingdom on my iPhone (and my iPhone is locked on the T-Mobile/EE network). Today, I came over to the US With my iPhone 4S and it didn't re-connect to any network the way that my BlackBerry (which is locked on O2) did. How do I deal with this? I'm here for quite awhile before going home and I don't want to go back to using my BB or invest in a new phone. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Switch the sim card.
Did you arrange global roaming with T-Mobile? If you did, then check which networks in the US provide the roaming for you. They may not be the same as the ones for O2 customers.
I don't know how much T-Mobile charges for roaming in the US, but if I were you, I would check, otherwise you might run up significant charges.
Try a sim from the usa.
