My iphone 5 got wet is there a way to fix it?
So ky iphone got wet from me taking a shower and the screen stsrted actin diffrent and then it turned gray so my imediate thought was to turn it off and turn it back on butbit wouldnt turn back on but when I put it on charge it still vibrates like i'm turning it on Please help I have alot of stuff I need on that phone
Put it in rice. I'm not sure how long you're suppose to leave it there, but I've been told that works well. However it seems your phone might be too damaged to do that, but it's worth a try. Have you backed up your phone at all?
Its very important to not try to use a device if it got wet. It needs to be completely powered off or it could fry the internals.
Put it completely submerged in a bowl of dry rice for a couple of days.
You could also go buy some wet electonic beads. (Its a little baggy full of beads that soak up moisture, and you put your phone in it and wait a couple of days) you can get them at most electronic stores and maybe amazon.com.
