My iPhone 5 isn't working after upgrading to iOS 7?
Yesterday I upgraded to iOS 7 from a torrent. I used UDIDs and everything. When I finished upgrading, my phone showed a blank(white) screen with a 1/2 inch black stripe in the middle. Now it won't turn on or off and iTunes won't detect/recognize my phone. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that is running OS X Lion. What can I do?
You may have just turned your iPhone into a brick.
iOS 7 is not scheduled to be released until this fall. What you may have downloaded at best was a Beta version of it, at worse complete garbage released by some person who is getting off thinking of all the poor people who are sitting like you with a dead iOS device because of them.
What can you do? My advice is to drop the phone in the toilet and take it to the Apple store. They're more likely to be willing to work with you on getting you a new one if they think you had an accident as opposed to doing something as risky as downloading a new iOS that is not out for the world to see yet.

- Will upgrading from iOS 5 to iOS 6 delete ANY data? I want to upgrade my iPhone 4 from iOS 5 to iOS 6 DIRECTLY FROM THE iPHONE using the software update option in Settings >> General. Will doing this delete ANY contacts, emails, apps, notes and calendar reminders? I'm MOST concerned about CONTACTS. I have more than 1000 of Contacts.

- Upgrading from iOS 5 to iOS 7.1.1? Can I upgrade to iOS 7.1.1 even if iOS 7.1.2 is available? I've downloaded the ipsw for the former and I hate to redownload.
- My iphone will not connect to itunes after upgrading to ios 6? I just upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios 6 not sure if it updated but now when i turn on my phone it says automatically that i need to connect it to itunes using the USB port but when i connect it it comes up as new hardware and can't find a program/software for my device even though i have the latest itunes on my computer. I have tried reinstalling itunes but it still can't find my phone and now i can't use my phone as it is stuck on the sync to itunes screen
