My iphone 5s fell in water
Around 5 am this morning my iphone 5s fell into my cup of water next to my bed, I hurried and took it out, when I did, the screen went fuzzy, turned blue, then turned off completely. I hurried and unplugged it, took off the case, and ran to the kitchen to put it in rice. After an hour I took it out and sucked some of the water out of it with my mouth around the speaker part, water did come out of course. But, then I tried to blow dry it, later someone telling me I wasn't suppose to because it can fry the circuits. After I blow dried it I put it back in rice, I came home from school around 3 to check on it and it still wouldn't turn on so I put it back in the rice. I'm going to leave it in there till around 2 tomorrow, will this help? I literally just got this about a month ago and it is so expensive to get a new one.
Just get a knew one. Someone ANSWER MY QUESTION Please.
Well you tried to turn it on so at that point you probably ruined it. You will need to take it to an apple store to see if it can even be saved.
- What to do if your iPhone fell in water? I tried the blow dryer approach and now I submerged my phone in a container filled with rice. Is there anything else I can try at this point?
- What do i do, my iphone fell in water I was brushing my teeth while listening to music from my iphone and it fell in the sink and was completely submerged in water for about a few seconds but i got it out quickly. I turned it off right away and put it in a bowl of wild rice (obvously not cooked) because thats what it said online. Did i do the right thing? Does anyone have any better methods? If the rice is the right idea, how long do i leave my phone in it?
- My iPhone fell into water I took a blow dryer to it, then I soaked it in a bag of rice. It'll turn on when it's plugged into a wall charger, but it says it needs to be connected to iTunes and be restored, so I plugged it into my laptop and it won't turn on.iTunes won't even pick up my phone to sync or ANYTHING. I need help! I left it in the bag of rice OVER 24 hours.
- My iPhone fell in water, what should I do? Okay, so its not visibly damaged (the screen has no water on it) and it works fine so far. I turned it off and placed it in a sealed bag with rice. What should I do now? There isn't too much water in the phone. How long should I keep it in the bag? I was thinking 3 hours. Is that too short?
