My iPhone 8 Plus keeps giving me notification sounds (the Tri-tone) why?

My iPhone 8 Plus keeps giving me notification sounds (the Tri-tone) and don't have that tone set for anything. Sometimes it does it twice in a row. I've reset the phone. Why is it doing this?

Try resetting all settings under general-->Reset-->reset all settings.

Does the device still do this when you toggle the vibration button on the side of the phone on?

In your notifications settings, have you checked each individual setting for each function in your device?

  • Trying to restore my Iphone 5c through iTunes, but it keeps giving me blue screens on my phone? 'Blue screen of death' thing. I sent it to apple and they told me the problem was with me plugging it up into a computer to charge it, and i plugged it into the socket for 30 mins, like they said and it says plug into itunes to restore it.
