My iphone can't receive text messages from other servers?
For some reason my iphone will only accept imessages. I can't receive any text messages from other type of phones. This just happen I've been receiving text messages from both iMessage and SMS. Please help, I'm thinking something got changed in my settings.
Go to settings and then messages. I believe there should be something there that says "Use SMS when iMessage is not available". Make sure that is on.
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? This is the iPhone X! I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings. I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?
- Why can't i send or receive text messages? I have an Iphone 3Gs, and just recently I have not been able to send or receive text messages from one contact. When I try sending a message it says "received" but when we talk through facebook or anything else they inform me that they never got the message, and its the same with their phone, I never get the messages. Its becoming a big hassle and I just want the problem fixed. Can anyone help me out?
- Why can't she receive my text messages? So this girl I know told me to text her… We both have iPhones I'm guessing because she asked me of I had one. Mine is go phoned from AT&T and hers is from Verizon. When I text her she never reviews my messages and when she texts me I never receive hers. But I can text anyone but her. Anyone have an idea of what's wrong?
- Why can't i receive text messages from iphone users? So i used an iphone before switching over to the galaxy s8. For some reason, i can't receive text messages from people who use an iphone. I still have the iphone i previously used and it gets all the imessages from people but it just doesn't go directly to my galaxy s8. Is there something i have to do to fix this? Do i have to wipe the sim card on the iphone in order to get iphone users texts?
