Why can't i receive text messages from iphone users?
So i used an iphone before switching over to the galaxy s8. For some reason, i can't receive text messages from people who use an iphone. I still have the iphone i previously used and it gets all the imessages from people but it just doesn't go directly to my galaxy s8. Is there something i have to do to fix this? Do i have to wipe the sim card on the iphone in order to get iphone users texts?
Apple still thinks the phone is an iPhone and is still sending messages from other iPhones via iMessage, which only works between iPhones. You have to sign in to your Apple account and sign the phone out of iCloud.
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? This is the iPhone X! I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings. I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?
- Why does my iPhone receive messages late when I'm in a group text? I have the iPhone 4s with 16g (I have less than a gig left of space) and am on T-Mobile. Every single time I'm added to a new group text, my phone delays all messages sent to me. Regardless of whether it's another iPhone or if they're on the same carrier as me, none of my messages get to me until an hour or so later. Is it because I'm low on space? Or is it T-Mobile (probably the worst carrier I've ever had by the way)? Or is it the iPhone software?
- Why do users of an android have worse quality of posted instagram photos than users of ios? I have an AndroidOne smartphone and I noticed that having posted a photo it has worse quality than the same photo but of the user of an iphone. Does anyone know why? Ia there any explanation?
- Why do I receive text messages and missed calls on my old Iphone. How do I stop this? When someone calls me on my new phone, it shows up as "missed call from ___".It doesn't ring on my on my old phone, but after I answer the call on my new phone, it says missed call on the old phone, if that makes sense. I receive text messages from people on my old iphone as well. I use it as my iPod because it could drain the life out of my new phone, so I don't necessarily want to reset the entire phone. I have cellular data off and I'm with Verizon.
