My iPhone fell in the toilet! - 1

So basically all I did was take it out and wipe it. It has been working the entire dat but my home button no longer works & it's been acting really wired. Is there a way to fix this? How much? And is there anything I can do?

Post an ad on craigslist… Somebody will call and offer to fix it

Go to a apple store talk to one of the geniuses and they will tell you what to do they will repair it properly with profession instead of having a stranger doing it (much more safer)

Seems that the moisture has been lined up on the internal circuits there. You may put that in a bowl of uncooked rice for 48 hours. It would absorb the entire moisture from the device and the device would start working properly then.

Put it in the rice for a day or two.here is some tips for rescuing your wet iphone

  • What should I do to make sure my iPhone 4s still works after it fell in the toilet? My iPhone fell in the toilet yesterday and I put it in a bowl of rice for 24 hours. I took it out and charged it and it worked. I want to make sure that it won't glitch and die, so should I keep it in a bowl of rice while charging it for a day? I also noticed that when I was charging it at first, it started heating up… Should I be concerned?
  • My iphone fell into the toilet? I took it out right away and put it in rice, overnight, at first it said "overheated" now it works perfectly except that the home button is broken and the screen has dark spots on it, should i leave it in rice a little longer?
  • My iPhone fell into the toileT After this, my mother put it onto a radiator and it went really hot. I then put it into some uncooked rice. I'm afraid that the heat may have damaged it as it was working after it had been in the water but it won't now. It just won't turn on. It is now in the rice, will it ever work again?
