My iphone fell in the water
So, I was showering yesterday, and my tub wasn't completely filled with water, so my iphone slipped from my hand and fell in the tub, it didn't get water in it. It kept lagging but everything's fine now. I only have one problem, the lock button doesn't work, i kept pressing it but it doesn't lock, i don't know what to do. I lost the guaranty recite.
Try letting it soak in an uncooked bowl of rice. I've heard after a day or so it sucks out water from the phone.
You didn't switch it off afterwards?
If a link will be okay.

They're saying 24 hrs, best imo is more than 2 days because there are no enough vents for air passage. And keep it (or the setup) where there's high air flow.
This page seems to be for those who lost receipt and still wanting support:

All the best.
If using the phone above a tub of water then thats what you get… Let it dry several days and hope its not destroyed.
- What to do if your iPhone fell in water? I tried the blow dryer approach and now I submerged my phone in a container filled with rice. Is there anything else I can try at this point?
- What do i do, my iphone fell in water I was brushing my teeth while listening to music from my iphone and it fell in the sink and was completely submerged in water for about a few seconds but i got it out quickly. I turned it off right away and put it in a bowl of wild rice (obvously not cooked) because thats what it said online. Did i do the right thing? Does anyone have any better methods? If the rice is the right idea, how long do i leave my phone in it?
- My iPhone fell into water I took a blow dryer to it, then I soaked it in a bag of rice. It'll turn on when it's plugged into a wall charger, but it says it needs to be connected to iTunes and be restored, so I plugged it into my laptop and it won't turn on.iTunes won't even pick up my phone to sync or ANYTHING. I need help! I left it in the bag of rice OVER 24 hours.
- My iPhone fell in water, what should I do? Okay, so its not visibly damaged (the screen has no water on it) and it works fine so far. I turned it off and placed it in a sealed bag with rice. What should I do now? There isn't too much water in the phone. How long should I keep it in the bag? I was thinking 3 hours. Is that too short?
