You can go to the store and check but you'll use money.
Or you could get a bag of rice, place your phone in the middle and cover it up with more rice, wait for 3 days and see if it still works.
Try the old trick. Put it in a bowl of dry rice for about 3-4 hours the rice will absorb the water in your phone.DO. NOT try to turn it back on while the components of your phone are still wet turning it back on could cause a shortage in your device destroying your precious iPhone forever. After letting your phone dry for about 4 hours turn it back on and it should function properly. If not then I hope you have insurance and that your company will replace it. Fyi if you have insurance and there's water damage to your phone most companies will charge a 50 dollar fee for a replacement. And if you decide to keep your phone know that the value will drop dramatically due to the fact that your water teat strip is probably pink or blue. Hope this helps…
