My iPhone Fell Into the water

My iPhone 4 fell into the water i just got it quickly and the camera had alot of water i just got angry and tryed to turn it on alot after removing all the water i can but it still had like water vapour in the camera… But i realised that since it fell and the flash was the only thing turned on till the battery emptied… My cousin tolf me to put it in a bag full of rice i just put it but i started trying to turn it on every now and then it have been in the rice for three days and every time i put it to charge to try it the flash turns on again please help me will it work again!

Put it in rice! Put it in a bowl of rice for at Least a week but it can take up to a month but It will work if its not already destroyed x

Leave it in the sun for a few days, but remove it from the sun every hour or two so it doesn't kill the battery.

Do you have warranty? If not then your ***

Put the iPhone on a radiator for 30 mins and it should work

Put It In A Bowl or a Pot of Rice for a few days.

Hopefully, with time, it will dry out! Although I wouldn't get your hopes up. I also have heard putting it In a bag of rice, I've heard to put it in the freezer also. It doesn't sound like you have any kind of insurance on it, so open it up very carefully and get as much water out as possible. It can't hurt it more than it is!

  • What to do if your iPhone fell in water? I tried the blow dryer approach and now I submerged my phone in a container filled with rice. Is there anything else I can try at this point?
  • What do i do, my iphone fell in water I was brushing my teeth while listening to music from my iphone and it fell in the sink and was completely submerged in water for about a few seconds but i got it out quickly. I turned it off right away and put it in a bowl of wild rice (obvously not cooked) because thats what it said online. Did i do the right thing? Does anyone have any better methods? If the rice is the right idea, how long do i leave my phone in it?
  • My iPhone fell into water I took a blow dryer to it, then I soaked it in a bag of rice. It'll turn on when it's plugged into a wall charger, but it says it needs to be connected to iTunes and be restored, so I plugged it into my laptop and it won't turn on.iTunes won't even pick up my phone to sync or ANYTHING. I need help! I left it in the bag of rice OVER 24 hours.
  • My iPhone fell in water, what should I do? Okay, so its not visibly damaged (the screen has no water on it) and it works fine so far. I turned it off and placed it in a sealed bag with rice. What should I do now? There isn't too much water in the phone. How long should I keep it in the bag? I was thinking 3 hours. Is that too short?
