Added (1). I never really used Icloud but after my phone got stolen I signed into iclouds on my laptop and I was able to have access to my contacts but when I go to the photo library it says it is empty. I was wondering if photos are automatically uploaded on icloud?
Added (2). is there anything I can do to retrieve my photos?
Photos are only automatically backed up if you enabled Photostream on your iPhone, if you didn't then they were not being backed up to the cloud. Unless you did manual backups, there's no way you're getting those photos back
- Updated iphone 5 to ios8 and lost photos and access to phototstream? Just updated iphone 5 from ios7 to 8 and now can't access all the photos which were on my photostream? The albums still appear in my phone which i created but there are no photos and none of them have backed up onto my computer. Lost some really important photos so does anyone know how i can find them?
- There has to be a way to access this Wi-Fi network right? My school has 2 separate networks, a guest server for our personal devices, and a regular server for school equipment and teachers. I was using our schools iPads and saw that the ipad was connected to the regular network. The regular network won't let my iPhone join. I have all the info from the network (ip, etc). Given all this, is there a way to join that network?
- Stolen iphone - any way i can get my photos back? My sisters iphone was stolen over the weekend, & she hadn't set up the icloud or find my iphone up, is there any way we can get the photos back from her phone without this enabled or the phone itself? I was wondering if I clear out my icloud would there be a way to get it to update my photos from my phone so I will still be able to have them? Also, when I go to find my iphone my device does not show up. Is there any other way to find my phone and get it back?
