My iPhone has random contacts?

I have the backup assistant app on my iPhone 4s. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but just in case.

I have had this phone since December 2012 and very recently, I was looking for someone's phone number in my contacts and noticed that I had a lot of absolutely random names in my contacts. Also the 'Emoji' that I had placed beside the names of certain people had come back, even though I deleted them months ago.

I used to work at McDonald's so I had the McD's from my town in my phone, but I noticed that there was another McDonald's in my phone. I looked up the phone number and found out that it was from some place in Missouri or Mississippi (I can't remember which). That's weird, huh.

So now I'm concerned with the safety of the information regarding my Apple account and the information on my iPhone. Should I be? Or do you think it was just a fluke?

Just delete them if they call you and bother you just block those numbers

  • Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
  • Random event on my iPhone calendar? It's really weird there's just like this event on the 25th May saying Taylor Urias's birthday, and I definitely didn't put it there, I have no idea who that is! Every time I try and delete it it just comes straight back, it's really annoying! I don't sync my calendar to the computer or anything so it can't be that. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?
  • Random apps appearing on IPhone 4? I have noticed that random apps have been appearing on my phone lately. Not anything suspicious, but I definitely never downloaded them. Just today Iheart Radio just appeared on my phone. The other day it was KiK, I don't even have a KiK. My phone it always on my and locked so no one could be getting in and buying them.
  • My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
