My iphone is not starting and there's just a icon of itunes and data cable when I switch it on

Could mean it's just synching or it's too dead to turn on and it's letting you know it's charging

Plug into your itunes equipped computer. Then see what happens. That's all I can think of (unless it just needs charging)

  • This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone? I have a life proof case and I took it under water. I noticed some water inside the case so I took it off and saw that there was water on the outside of the phone. Ever since then a note pops up every 15-30 seconds saying "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this phone". What should I do? Is there a way to fix it? My phone is virtually unusable since this annoying message keeps popping up. Any help would be appreciated.

This time I was at a concert wearing a bag that was loose on my body and my phone was in it. It could be easily taken out without me noticing. I took it out and the message appeared.
