My iphone is not working as well as it used to?

I have a kind of old iphone, a few years. And sometimes it just shuts me out of what I'm doing, will randomly make the screen black with white apple on it like I just turned it on when I haven't and it's charged, the circle button doesn't work that well, and the like. Is it time for me to upgrade?

Try wiping and reinstalling everything first you might have corrupt apps which will devastate the performance of any device. If that doesn't work you should upgrade

Well if you want it fast again then backup to your computer and restore it. Then restore from backup basically cleaning your phone and putting all that back in. Tho I just switched from iPhone to the s4 and I like it a lot, but I've heard of an iPhone 6 coming out on 2014 or something. Go on YouTube and search iphone 6 trailer and go for the first 3. Your gonna love it!

  • Why is my iPhone 4's touch screen not working well? I have an iPhone 4, and has recently stopped working properly. When I unlock it, it will sometimes take at least 5 swipes to work. It's even worse when I try to put in my passcode. In the middle of playing a game or texting someone, the touch screen will stop working, and I can't tap. The home and power button still work just fine, but I need to power off and then back on again to get it working again. If anyone can help, it is greatly appreciated.

  • Is there an iPhone app to go to the home screen? My Home button isn't working well? IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
  • Is my iPhone not working well because the screen is really cracked? Okay, so I have an iPhone 4S and it has been working perfectly fine until last night. It is really cracked and some pieces of the glass have fallen out (oops) but now the top part of my screen doesn't really work. The home button works fine, but the lock button does not. Also, I can still type although its a struggle but whenever something is more towards the top of the screen it is nearly impossible to click on. Is this because of the cracks or is something wrong with my phone?
