How well is gun control working in the South Bronx?
I was mugged with a gun back in February, he took my $300 Purse and my $500 iPhone.
Added (1). But I DIDN'T have one, so I got robbed.
When the question is "how well is (XXX policy) working in the South Bronx?", the answer is "not very well".

He probably bought the gun on the internet where they don't do background checks. Looks like that background check bill failing cost you $800. Call your republican rep and demand it back.
Wait a minute! Were you mugged by the criminal or mugged by the gun, which one is it?! I just hope to god that gun didn't grow legs and say," *** give me your purse", because that's what the liberals probably think happened since they say "guns kill people".
I'm so sorry that happened to you. A gun may have been useful in your situation. Were you aware of your surroundings? Did you take into account criminal statistics? If not, the chances of you defending yourself would have been low. If you were aware and acted like digging through your purse when in reality you had your CCW ready to shoot in your hand, I would say congrats. Better safe than sorry. You getting robbed had nothing to do with you not being armed. It had to do with the criminal believing you to be unarmed.
Also, Cantankerous… Do some research before you spout your idiocy. You do need a background check when you pick up a gun purchased online at a local FFL.
Criminals don't pay any attention to laws… Criminals prefer unarmed victims!
Having a gun will not help all the time but being defenseless will never help.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!

- Why is my iPhone 4's touch screen not working well? I have an iPhone 4, and has recently stopped working properly. When I unlock it, it will sometimes take at least 5 swipes to work. It's even worse when I try to put in my passcode. In the middle of playing a game or texting someone, the touch screen will stop working, and I can't tap. The home and power button still work just fine, but I need to power off and then back on again to get it working again. If anyone can help, it is greatly appreciated.
