My iphone isn't turning on - 1

Well, I was sitting on my couch and I have an iPhone 4.So, i typed in my passcode and the numbers where all punched in but it wouldn't unlock my phone.So, I decided to turn off my phone and I went to turn it back on and it won't turn back on! Help! I went to hook it up to the charger because it was low on battery and waited 10 minutes and it still won't turn on!

Hold down the Turn on/off button and home button at the same time for a minute or two

It could be dead or water damaged. If you think its water damaged put it in rice

Its either dead dameged or you turned it of completly just try holding the on button i have to do this sometimes and i have to this alot on my nook

I didn't want to because I had a bunch of stuff on there and it wasn't backed up.So, the plug into iTunes screen was still there. I unplugged my phone, and then it just shut off and it won't turn on again. Help me! What do I do? P. S. It had a full charge.
