My iphone turns off randomly?
Ok, recently I had my iphone 3gs broken. The battery inflated to the point where it broke the outer casing of the phone. I recently transfered the board into an iphone 3g case, and ever since its been shutting down randomly with no warning. It shuts down on or off the charger, but everything else seems to be working just fine.
The 3G housing and the 3GS housing are slightly different. Something probably isn't sitting correctly, therefore triggering it to shut off randomly.
You need to put it back into a 3GS housing. I certainly also hope you replaced that battery.

And I don't wanna go to the apple shop because I don't want my mum to have to pay for a new one because we have a tight budget. And if I tell her she will go mad!

Okay tbms it turns on and off on and off and then sometimes it shows a red screen for a few seconds then off again and dies out. It's not the battery because I got that changed thinking that it was the cause and it wasn't. So is there anything someone can help me with? The repair guy tried restoring it through iTunes he said it didn't work either it just won't come on it doesn't go pass the Apple logo before shutting off and on again and dying out
- My iPhone 4S turns off for no reason? Sometimes I will be able to use it for over a half hour when it's at 1% battery, but other times it will shut off when there's battery life remaining, e.g., 8% or 12%. And just now it turned off at 27%! This doesn't seem normal to me. Does this happen to anyone else? What could the problem be?
- My iPhone 4S suddenly turns off? During charging, my iPhone would just suddenly turn itself off then on again. It does it constantly. Usually when its on charge. When it its off charge, the battery percentage stays the same… The only way to change the battery percentage is to restart the phone. I just had a 2 new battery installed and both are still the same issue. What's is wrong and do i need to change any componemts?
