My iPhone won't play music with my apple headphones?
My apple headphones work on my iPod but not my iPhone. And my non apple headphones work on my iPhone. What the hell?
I tried restating my phone but it still doesn't work. I know my headphones work cause I can listen on my iPod.
Has this happened to you/how do I fix it?
Do you have an Apple tv or something similar? You're audio could be going to another source, like over the wi-fi or over a Bluetooth connection. Go into your music settings and check for a rectangular box. It should have an triangle at the bottom of the box. If it is blue, thats the issue. Click on it and change your settings.
- Why can my iphone only play music with just the right bud/speaker on headphones? I've had the Iphone 4 for a bit now and recently i noticed that the left bud on one of my headphones don't work. I thought it was my headphones so i went out and bought a new pair. Only the right one works in those as well. I tried others too and then when the another person tries the same headphones on their ipod both work. What exactly is the problem and how can i fix it?

I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.

So I unplugged the headphones and hit play and the music came out of the actual speakers. Then I paused it and plugged the headphones back in. When I hit play it worked. I just don't want to have to do that every time I want to listen to music. Any help is greatly appreciated.
