My laptop is stuck on 'Starting Windows
It's an acer laptop windows 7 it's 1 year and 4 months old. It starts normally but then it's stuck on 'Starting Windows' when the logo of windows is formed. I waited for like half an hour but it was on the same screen then I had to turn it off by the power button. After that when I again started it, it showed an error with two options one was to repair the problem (Recommended) and the other was start windows normally when I choose to repair it the result was can't repair it. It was telling to remove the device that was recently connected. I have a iPhone 3G I connect it to the iTunes I have been connecting it to thr laptop the time I brought it no such error has ever occurred before! I restarted it and this time I selected start windows normally but it's still stuck on Starting windows! Do you have and solutions which don't cost money. I can't tell my parents about this.
When the computer is starting up, press F8, this will take you to "advanced boot options" when you reach this, use the arrow keys to go down to "safe mode". If this works, log into your account and do a system restore. To do this, Start typing in the Start menu search box "system restore"
Restore it back to the date when you remember the computer working.

Get windows 7 dvd from anywhere >insert dvd to computer >start computer>don't press any key>when it ask for start window normally or startup repair>select start windows normally it should come up however if it doesn't then>restart computer and select repair computer it will come up. If it doesn't do factory restore

- Windows 8.1 won't update stuck at 60%? I have a Windows 8 computer that I rarely use. I basically live off of my iPad and iPhone. When it came time to sync my phone and my iPad I noticed that I had an update. Windows 8 update to Windows 8.1 but it won't let me update I've tried several times and nothing my computer always get stuck at 60% or it says it was unable to update.
