My laptop won't recognise or install my iphone 4
So I tried to plug my iphone 4 into my laptop to update the software, only when I plugged it in and tried to back it up on iTunes it said "iPhone can't be backed up as the device was disconnected" which it wasn't as my phone was still charging. I then unplugged the device and plugged it back in but this time my laptop didn't even register that my phone was plugged in. So I have borrowed an iPhone cable off my friend and have plugged it in to find that windows said my iPhone couldn't be installed properly so I went to devices and printers and I right clicked on the "Apple mobile device USB driver" and clicked troubleshoot, windows tried to fix it but failed and now is saying "MTP USB Device has a driver problem" and "Hardware changes might not have been detected" can anyone please help me I've been trying to fix the problem for days and I'm getting no where.
Go to Settings/Control Panel/Device Manager and look for Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Delete all entries named USB Root Hub. Connect your iPhone and it will be detected. If not leave it connected and restart your computer.

- My iphone won't recognise the sim? I just updated my iphone to the latest ios and now it won't recognise the sim. Actually i had it unlocked… But it is not jailbroken. Is it a serious thing? Is my phone locked again?
- My iphone 5s will not turn on. Hard reset doesn't work and itunes doesn't recognise it My phone hasn't turned on in 5 days. Doesn't respond to the charger or being plugged into the computer. I've tried the hard reset a thousand times and nothing happens. ITunes won't recognize my phone so I can't do a factory reset. Can anyone tell me another way of resetting my phone?

I have just got an iphone 4s off ebay - it specified that it was locked onto the o2 network - i cut my original sim from my blackberry using a micro sim cutter so it would fit the iphone, it's needs to be set up for the first time but it isn't letting me complete the activation as the sim is not being registered. I also ensured that the sim was removed of all pin codes. Why isn't my sim being recognised?
