MY MOM TOOK TURNED OFF MY CELLULAR DATA! Need advice?
Ok so my mom literally takes my phone away for no reason and this time she decided to turn off my cellular data so basically my iPhone is now works like an iPod. (It's been a week now). How should I get it back and have your parents done this to you?
Simply go to your settings and turn it back on
Live with the situation.
My guess is that you did, or failed to do, something significant.
Changing your attitude and behaviour is the best remedy here.
Or, maybe, the idea is to save money by using less data.
That one would be hard to argue against.
Get a job and get your own phone with your own data plan. Otherwise, deal with it. As long as she's footing the bill, she doesn't owe you an explanation.
Get your own phone
Not nnuch you can do about it but i wouldnt ask for it back cause then you'll get stuck without it even longer
Go to your settings and turn it back on
Then order a phone using m=your moms bank card
I'm going to assume here that the phone was bought by your Mom and the bill is also paid for by your parents, so really its their phone and you are merely borrowing it.
There's a reason why they did this because clearly you were overusing the data and costing her more money than you normally would, she wanted to stop taking a financial hit and she turned OFF the data, it seems very reasonable to me that she would do that, and as its her phone, she has every right to do so.
If you don't like it, then you can get a job and save up to buy your own phone.
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
