My mom won't let me have an iPhone what should I do?
I'm 14 years old and I have a really bad phone, my mom is against me getting an iPhone because she thinks I will become too addicted, I can get one for free though. My aunt said she will give me her iPhone 6 for free since she recently got a new phone and it works good and looks good, my mom still says no even though it's free. My mom just hates seeing me happy. What should I do? What are pros of having an iPhone I should tell her?
I mean if it's free then she should just let you have it… She seems like a bad mom.

Your mother wants you to be happy, she just doesn't want to see you spending every single moment of your spare time staring at a 2×3" screen.
Compromise with your mother, limit your screen time, and offer to take up an external activity, join a theater/singing group, take up the ukulele, start running.
Well maybe you should construct a system: Limit screentime every day to a reasonable time period. When that time is up, you don't go on it. Also your mum is stricter than mine! Wow I never thought I'd see the day

I'm 14 and I experienced that as well. My mom said I can't get my phone until I move up to high school…
However, my younger sister got stolen her phone (not iphone) and she got an android smart phone and yeah… My mom felt bad for me and got me an iphone.
But when I want something or want to do something I do something that will satisfy my mom and my self. So like try doing dishes and do your best in studying and sports.

Same me mum wont let me get a phone for free and i can pay monthly but she just dose not want to contact my friends only at school but i did have a phone my brother brock it and the screen has green lines in it and my she tried to unlock it so she disabled it so i can not use it anymore
- My mom tracks my phone using Find my iPhone. I need to go somewhere without them knowing. Is there any way to freeze or change my location? I'm 19, have my own car, pay for my phone myself, and go to college 4 hours from home. I need to go home and back this weekend without my parents knowing because they are very critical and judgemental of me going home so often.
