My number on my iphone 4s shows as unknown?
I have an iphone 4s jailbroken and my number is showing unknown i have ios 7.04 and running on simple mobile I have tried most things to try and fix this (reset, restore turn imessage and facetime on and off airplane mode etc) I called simple mobile they can't help and apple as well.
Is there a way to fix this using ifile? I have it installed any help would greatly be appreciated, I know a few people that are having this problem, my imessage will work using my apple id email however I don't want to use my email I want to use it from my number which i can't edit… Thank you guys in advance!
Go on to SETTINGS
Tap on PHONE
Slide the button SHOW MY CALLER ID to the RIGHT.
- Why does my iPhone not make a sound when I receive a text from an unknown number? When I get a text message from a number that is not in my phone, my phone lights up and shows that I have a text but does not make a sound or ring. Can I change that somehow? I have an iPhone 5.
- Why did I get a text message from an Unknown number? So I have an iPhone 4 and I got a text message from an Unknown Number. Not a number that I don't know, it literally said "Unknown" where the number was supposed to be. There was no text in the message, and I responded with, "Hi, who's this?" and I got one of those error messages in return. What does this mean? How do you even send a text message from a blocked number?
- Unknown number keeps texting me a blank message? A number keeps texting me a blank message, but instead of a number sending it to me, it simply says Unknown. I thought it was an error in something, then it happened two more times. Is it a person or just something messing up? I mean they're not saying anything, it's like they clicked the space button and sent the message. By the way, I have an iPhone.
- Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person? A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?
