My phone went from 4G to LTE which caused my mobile data to stop working, how do I get back my 4G?
I really need some heIp. I read this article (https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/www.redmondpie.com/enable-iphone-facetime-app-in-uae-dubai-without-jailbreak-heres-how/amp/) on how to enable FaceTime on iphones from UAE/Dubai (I live in Australia but I bought my phone from Egypt so there's no FaceTime on it), I followed all the instructions using the file managing app Filza which I got from Cydia, after I followed the instructions I rebooted my phone but when it turned on, there was still no FaceTime but the 4G symbol on my phone turned into LTE and my mobile data isn't working at all anymore. I tried going back into Filza and following the same steps so I could get to the AllowsVoIP file and delete it but I couldn't because the carrier bundle folder disappeared from the library. I really need to get my 4G back but I have no idea how. I also reset all content and settings on my phone but it still stays as LTE and my mobile data still won't work.
Your phone will connect to the best mobile data system available to it at the time. If it decides that is LTE then it probably means that a 4G signal is not available at your current location and that LTE is the best you are going to get where you are at that PRECISE moment. When you move to an area where you can get reliable 4G your phone will tell using the symbol. If you can't get 4G at your current location, no amount of playing around with settings is going to change that!
It's possible to use facetime even with a 3G signal, but if you start messing around with little idea what you are doing you may end up with a completely non-functional phone!
Want to get 4G to show up on your phone? Go for a little walk outside of any buildings, where there's an open space, in the middle of a built-up area - hey presto, you'll almost certainly get 4G!
- Why don't Climate Change Supporters care at all about the massive environmental damage caused by our ballooning population? CO2 is comparatively simple to eliminate than giving up iPhones because they require rare earth metals; and it isn't like our consumer waste just disappears when we throw it away. We can destroy as many habitats as needed… Exterminate as many species as needed so we have room for more housing, factories, and other disgusting human creations.

- What could have caused my iPhone to shut off & stop working? I was listening to music, unplugged it & the whole phone shut off. Nothing works. I've never dropped it in any water before. It's been dropped but I think everyone's phone has before. It always had a case on & there were no shatters ever. It was in new condition. I have no idea what happened. Also will apple replace my phone if i still have warranty or will they just send it back broken.
