Network list is not showing up Windows 8?
I have been having a bit a trouble with my internet. (I'm connected via Ethernet)
I have windows 8 Dell Inspiron and my iPhone is connected wirelessly through my Netgear router fine. I checked all my drivers and they say it is all up to date. And for some reason when I click on the network connections list nothing shows up not even my neighbors connections is showing up. My wireless connection is not showing up either. All that's showing up is my Ethernet.
What is going on please help

- Wireless network not showing up? For some reason my wireless network is not showing up on my laptop or my phone. I've tried turning the router off and then turning it back on but it didn't work. The internet works fine if I plug the Ethernet cord into my laptop but when I try to connect wirelessly, I can see all the other networks around me but mine doesn't even show up. Normally, my laptop or iphone will connect automatically. This just started happening 2 days ago out of nowhere. Anyone have any suggestions?
- Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
- What's the difference between off-network and on-network? I'm try to work out which is best for what I want out of the service. I want protection while on my iPhone 5 (both when connected via Wi-Fi and when roaming on 3/4G). Website with product details: http://www.umbrella.com/products/umbrella-security-features/
- Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
