New IOS 11 took all my gigabytes? I had 40 before I updated

I have an iPhone 6s Plus with 64gb and I had 40.7 on there right before I updated it. Now it's saying on IPhone storage (in settings) I have used 16 out of 64Gb. Does that mean I have 16 gigabytes left?

No. You used 16 out of the 64 so you have about 48 go left.

? No. It means that the update used 16GB. It doesn't mean you have 16GB left.

  • Will downloading IOS 9 delete the storage that iOS 8 took up? I have a 16gb iPhone 6, and it come with iOS 8, and I only had 11.6 gb to work with as soon as I got the phone with all of the software installed. My question is: will downloading iOS 9 delete the iOS 8 data, thus freeing up more space after the download because iOS 8 took up more storage?

  • My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
  • Just updated my iPhone 4s to the IOS 8 update and lost all my stuff So I have ICLOUD on my iPhone and on my mac, but when I updated my phone it restored everything back to from 2013 (2 years ago) so now I don't have my recent contacts and apps and music on the phone. My macbook pro has my recent messages and contacts but I just don't know how to transfer it all of it onto my phone. Or is their another way to get it all back from 20 min ago before I updated my phone?!
