No Sim Card installed in iPhone 4?
My phone will be working fine, then all of a sudden it tells me I have no Sim Card installed. It's been doing this everyday for the past week. I've tried taking the sim card out and blowing on it, I've tried togging the airplane mode on and off, I've updated my software and nothing seems to be working! I've had the phone for 2 and half years, so maybe the sim card is worn out? I'm not sure, but I need my phone to start working again so if anyone has any helpful suggestions I would really appreciate it!
It sounds like sim may be faulty. An you borrow another sim and see if it works ok in the phone or else call in to your network's store and get a replacement from them
Sim could be worn out or the contacts inside the phone could have something on them that is causing bad contact.
Go to your carrier & get a new SIM, with your number assigned to it.
- Why does my iPhone 4 show No Sim Card Installed? I recently dropped my iPhone 4 on the ground. When I picked it up, the iPhone displayed a message reading 'No Sim Card Installed".It also says "No Sim" on the top left corner where the signal strength is suppose to be at. What do I do? I have had my iPhone 3 for a little over a year, and it is hacked to be an AT&T GoPhone and it was in my pocket and I looked at it, and it said "No SIM Card Installed" and I reset the settings, turned it off, etc. I even took the SIM Card out. Nothing at all is working… How do I fix this problem, fast? Did I ruin my phone by taking the card out? Is there anything I can do without opening it up?
