My iphone 5 is frozen on a black screen?
Ok so my iphone 5 is frozen on a black screen. All it shows is the time, battery percentage, and Wi-Fi bars. It is fully charged also!
Begin by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the Home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time.
Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power-off slider appears. If it appears, just keep holding it.
Wait until the silver Apple logo appears.
When this happens, you can let go - the iPhone is rebooting.
- My iphone is frozen on the startup screen? My iPhone 5s is frozen on the start up screen with the apple. It's been like this for about a half hour now. How do I fix this? I looked up and it said to hold the home and power buttons for 15 seconds but will this delete the stuff on the phone? I haven't backed up the phone in a while so I don't want to lose anything.
- My iPhone has been frozen on a black screen for longer than 24 hours and it won't die? My iphone 4 froze 2 days ago and its on a black screen and still hasn't died, When will it? It was on around 80% when it froze
- My iphone 6 screen is frozen? I was just scrolling through google (the app not through safari). Just reading my daily dose of news. As I scrolled the screen froze. About 30 minutes later, the screen turned into the screen when you usually turn on the phone it appears or when you have an update (the white background with the black apple). So far the screen has been stuck like that for 4 hours now. I've been pressing and holding to buttons to try and get it to work but it doesn't.
- My IPhone 5c is frozen on the lock screen, what do I do? I haven't dropped it at all, and I've restarted it (held down the home and sleep/wake buttons) twice, but it still won't unfreeze. I've also tried charging it but that didn't work. What should I do? (I can't take it to an Apple store as they don't have one where I live)
