On AT&T, will I be charged data if using 3g/4g, with an LTE plan?
I have a 30$ per month LTE plan on my iPhone 6, and noticed an option to turn off lte, restricting me to 4g or 3G. Is this still going to charge usage on my account?
Yes it will still use data and you will still be charged. If you want to save data you need to turn cellular data off. You can still use Wi-Fi for free though.
- Will I get charged for using Wi-Fi when my Sprint data plan is shut off? If I turn off the data plan for my iPhone 5 (with the intention if turning it back on), will I get charged for using the Internet using Wi-Fi?
- Will I get charged for using 3G Internet if I have the unlimited data plan? My carrier is Sprint. I have an iPhone 4. I'm asking if I'll be charged if I don't use Wi-Fi.
- Will I be charged by using my 3G data even if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi? So currently I have no Internet but I do have an iPhone 4S 16GB and my plan is Sprint's unlimited everything plan so I'm able to use the Internet still on my phone. But does anybody know if it'll charge me extra even if I have unlimited data since I'm not connected to Wi-Fi because usually I use my phone's Internet all the time but it's usually connected to Wi-Fi. Does anybody know if I may get charged?
- Will I be charged a data plan if I buy a factory unlocked iphone? I want to buy a factory unlocked iphone 4s off ebay. I currently have a 3g that's unlocked but I don't believe it's factory unlocked. If I put my sim card into this new 4s will AT&T know and add the data plan? I've heard this can happen before but is it just for people who buy factory unlocked phones through Apple or AT&T or is it for all factory unlocked phones?
