On my iPhone there's a red light?
At night when I'm like reading and it's pitch black, I see a little red light it's so small but it's like at the top of the IPhone to the left of the oval speaker, on the screen. What is it?

That is the infra-red sensor on your phone. It is not broken, it's actually a feature! What it does is it monitors the distance between you and your phone and switches off the screen when you get close to it. This prevents a phenomenon that I would call "Ear dialing" if it existed. Don't be alarmed of its existence, and gloat to your friends that you can see infra-red light.
Its not a light. That's one of the sensors that the iPhone has. Either the proximity sensor which detects things close to it to disable the display (usually for calls) or the ambient light sensor which reduces or increases the display's brightness (if you have auto brightness on).
Sometimes the light from the display may light it up so it may look like a light but again its not.
