I'm going on vacation to the USA (I'm in Canada) for a few days, and am bringing my iPhone. I don't want roaming charges for calling and texting. I know I coils just put it in airplane mode, but if my hotel has Wi-Fi I want to use that. Is there anyway I can turn off my cellphone features and still be able to use Wi-Fi?
My iphone went into the pool…
it stopped working, so I put it in rice.
it turned itself back on, but it wants me to connect it to itunes to restore it.
I get error 1611 when I try to restore it.
I've done everything possible to fix the error, as if it was a problem with my computer.
everything on the phone is functioning, except I get this error. What should I do?
Ok I got 3GS on contract and if I cancel it I have £240 before I can go on to a iPhone 4s contract or would you just keep your 3GS til September 2013 and my iPhone 3GS on 3 has such a rubbish service it drives me mad i got lost last week and was stuck with no service

I know there are ways on my old simpler phones to listen to music, not out loud, through the part that you'd here someone on the phone through. Is there a way to do this on the iPhone? I've got a long bus ride if not.
Whenever I try to open the contacts or phone app, it keeps crashing and goes back to the springboard. I did everything from turning the phone off and hard reset. It still does the same thing. My phone is running on iOS 5.0.1 and it is jailbroken unlocked with Gevey Sim.
I have just got an iphone and have created an itunes account for myself. My boyfriend already has an account for his iphone which has all his music and apps and everything on. When I log in to my account on our laptop all of his things come up in my account. I have now created a 'guest' account on our computer but it won't allow me to burn my CDs on to it in itunes… Any ideas at all?
So I have an iPhone 4 and it is upgraded to iOS 5 and my cousin has an Android. When we text I can't see her emojis, but she can see mine. How do we fix or change that?
I have tried restoring my phone, turning it on and off, checked all the settings and YES switched the thing on the side of the phone. But i can't get it to make a sound, it just vibrates… Anyone know how to restore the sound to my phone?
