Why is my iphone only showing on itunes when it's plugged in?

All my apps and stuff only appear on my itunes when it's plugged in even though it says 'backing up data.'

My itunes is initially for my ipod, so seems to only recognise apps and stuff from my phone when it's plugged in. Which means in worst case scenarios such as loosing your phone (which I managed to do today). All my apps etc aren't anywhere for me to access without the phone. ://

Is there no possible way to get them to appear on my itunes.without having my phone with me?

The only apps I really use and constanly go on is Instagram, my text messages, and my camera.that's all of the apps I use when I go out, and it still dies after four hours of being out. In sims freeplay on iPhone/iPod? I can't get my two sims engaged

I've basically reached the goal to "grow a baby into a toddler" before reaching the goal to "get engaged"! How is that even possible? I'm on level 19… I updated the app when I was on about level 16 so maybe I've missed the goal to get engaged? I don't knoooww… But I can't grow a baby into a toddler until I get a baby. And I can't get a baby until I'm married. And I can't get married until I've gotten engaged. But I can't get engaged until I reach the goal to het engaged. But I can't reach the goal to het engaged before completing the goal to grow a baby into a toddler! So I'm in a bit of a pickle:/ any ideas how to get past this?

Is it okay to use my Iphone 4 after dropping it in the fresh water lake?

36 hours ago, my white Iphone 4 was dropped into the lake. I was only underwater for about two seconds and also had an otterbox on it. When I grabbed it out, shook it off, and got the case off of it, it didn't seem wet at all. However, I called my fiance and I could hear him perfectly but he couldn't hear me at all. So i'm assuming water just got into the bottom speakers, which the otterbox does not cover. I immediately shut my phone off and put it in a bag of white rice as soon as I got home. Last night, after 24 hours of being in rice, I took it out and tried to turn it on but it showed the battery screen, meaning it was dead, so I plugged it in and waited for it to turn on. When it did, I had my dad call me and we could hear each other just fine. The only issue was that it sounded a little funny when I first turned it on when all my texts came in, the ringing noise was kind of blurred and distorted. So I turned it back off and put it in the bag of rice once again overnight. When I get home tonight, after it has been in the rice for 48 hours, can I take it out and use it? Or do I need to leave it in the rice longer? Also, I read something on the internet saying that it will work fine after you drop it but eventually everything that got wet in the iphone will corrode, does that just go for salt water? The lake it was in is completely fresh water (I live in Wisconsin so there's no salt water) or do I have something to worry about?
