They're really expensive but they seem really nice based on the few occasions I've used them. I also think they'd be really helpful when going on runs. Thoughts?

What can i do with a locked iphone?

My mom has 2 iphones(6, and 6s) that have an apple ID/account assigned to them though i don't know the password to unlink the account. The phones originally belonged to a friend that is now deceased so whatever the passwords were we got no access to. We received the phones from that friend's sibling after her death in hopes that we could do anything with them (my mom's phone at the time was damaged)

is there anything we can do with these two phones, or are they pretty much trash at this point? (we're mainly wondering if we can get any money from them to cover the cost of my mom's new phone)
