Internet speeds recently cutting in half?

I usually get 20mb download and 1.1mb upload. 2 days ago i started getting around 3mb download and 500kb upload on my iPhone and even my playstation which is on ethernet. I changed the router to the one we rented from windstream and the speeds are now 10mb download and 900kb upload on my ps4, and about 7mb on my PC and phone. I've reset to default settings, unplugged it, and swapped it out. I also tried using 5hz and 2.4hz and enabling SmartSteering.

Do you have a desktop or laptop PC?

I'm in the market of replacing my laptop, as it's six-seven years old and starting to show its age. I got it when i was in college, so it made sense for portability. But i have a job that has its own laptop, and an iPhone Xs with a lot of my media on it already. So i don't think a laptop may be necessary for me just for the portability aspect.

i also do my primary gaming on console, so i don't need to spend $1000 for a high end PC either. But still a decent one as i do watch a lot of media on it, run multiple apps on it, and may play some light games like Sims for example.

If i got a desktop, i would probably just use my current laptop as a portable media device until it fails, or maybe sell it before hand, and use desktop primarily. Then if my laptop does fail or i sell it, maybe get a tablet if i really need one.

i feel like i'm answering my own question here of what i should shop for, but i wanted to get your input as well.

if i get a desktop, is it cheaper to get one with 2TB internal, or just look for 1TB and expand when needed? I would like to spend less then $750 if i can get a decent one with a dedicated graphics card.

Iphone Restarting Problem?

I just picked up a used iphone and it works fine but when the phone is in sleep it will just randomly restart I thought it was the battery so i replaced. But its still having this problem does any one have a solution.

Can I unblock a phone that has been blocked?

I have an iphone 6s, wasn't able to pay off the bill cus I was forced to leave my job for health reasons
The bill kept piling up and I now owe around £1,200
The network provider vodafone blocked the sim/phone as my phone now says No Service and I can't receive calls and texts or send them (so it is like an iPod now basically)

I'm paying off the bill a few pounds a month and it will take years to pay the whole thing off (don't have any other option such as loans)

If I took it to a repair store, is it possible to unblock/unlock this phone to receive calls/texts? I'd put in another sim. The phone is on a contract with voda so I just want advice.

(Had to mention every detail as some people question instead of answer)
