Can I use my old HTC One X to substitute for my broken iPhone?

I dropped my iPhone 5c and the screen shattered and I can't buy a new one because of the cost. I can probably afford to get the screen fixed but in the meantime, people keep tell me to use an old phone. Can I use my old HTC One X? And if so, how do I go about this? There's no SIM card that I know of in an iPhone, at least externally. Do I need to take it to an AT&T (my carrier) store? My iPhone still works, it is just really hard to deal with the cracked screen because I keep getting cut from the glass or plastic or whatever it is and also it is very hard to see what is on the screen itself.

My old phone broke, and i JUST got a new one and it fell down a flight of stairs and completely cracked on the side, -.-"
anywho it got a bit of water in it and its battery was 2percent but i was too lazy to charge it, so it froze and shut off and its been 2 days and it won't turn back on -.-"

So i thought it may be water damage so i gave it to a phone store to fix it, and the guy said its NOT FIXABLE! Any who i can't get another new phone so do you think if i change the battery it'll work?

How to restore iphone after mistaken restore?

Long story short: my phone was stolen. I got a new one. I'm on a prepaid tmobile plan so they couldn't restore anything. I have(had) new contacts and pictures. My computer wasn't working for a few months. Just got it up and running so I plugged in my phone to put my music on it. It restored my phone so I got all my old pictures, contacts, and messages, BUT it deleted all my new stuff that I put on it since getting the new one! How can I just get both back? My old and new stuff?

Added (1). Its not password protected and looks like it hasn't been used since February? The screen and back are broken, I seriously doubt this person's gonna miss it… Is there a way to delete everything off it and restore it?
