Skype has the loading symbol in place of my status symbol?

On my desktop version of skype there's the little blue loading symbol by my picture instead of the green dot saying I'm online. I have the latest version of skype and a HP Pavilion (if that's any help). I have tried uninstalling and re installing skype three times, but it still had the loading symbol. Then on my mobile version of skype (most recent version of skype and I have an iPhone 5c) it just says I'm connecting. Is there something wrong with just my account or is skype acting weird fro everyone?

Long story short
A girl threatened my life and my families so i took her phone and threw it at the ground. After this she called the police and I was given a ticket for property damage. She received nothing for what she did to me.

The phone is a iPhone 5c, which was previously shattered. I have proof that it was shattered also. What is the amount that she can get out of me when we go to court?

Will i still get the Verizon upgrade?

Currently i was in a contract that ended and that cost approximately $300 a month (for five phones), and if i switch to the new Verizon monthly plan it will cost around $180 a month. But i was wondering that if i switch the plan will i still get the $200 voucher for an upgrade, and is the $200 voucher for each phone? I was also wondering that when you trade in your old phone (iphone 4 and 4s) will you be able to use the upgrade voucher and trade in towards a new phone (iphone 6s). Expecting to pay $350 for the iphone 6s?
