Delay in receiving Whatsapp messages after iPhone 5S to iPhone 8 Plus upgrade (Wechat also)?

I just upgraded from iPhone 5S to 8 Plus. I used the Backup and Restore options in iTunes to transfer my apps and data, and after transferring the SIM card to the 8 Plus my phone was good to go.

However, there's now a delay (1-10 min) in receiving most of my Whatsapp messages. With the 5S, when my friends sent me messages, they would see two grey ticks with 1-2 seconds. Now with the 8 Plus, it could take up to several minutes before I see the message (i.e. Going from 1 grey tick to 2 grey ticks). This was never an issue with the 5S.

Nothing else has changed - I'm using the same Wi-Fi at home and my phone is in Airplane mode. The new 8 plus is running the latest version of iOS and Whatsapp. Also, this appears not to be a Whatsapp-only problem because I'm experiencing the same kind of delay with WeChat as well. It almost seems like some setting in iPhone is holding up the messages. I have already tried to "Forget" my Wi-Fi network and re-establish it.

Has anyone experienced this before?

IPhone issues: (Phone not charging right) Anyone got advice?

Okay, so, I have an older phone. I don't know if it matters whether it's old or new, but I have a 6s plus. So, it quit working today. Charging wise, I mean. So my charger quit working with it and I got a new one. First it took an hour to turn back on after dying. Then it got stuck at 1% and would quit charging every few minutes. Then it finally stated charging, but it was still stuck in 1% for a pretty long time. It's now on 38% and seems to be going up, although I'm worried that it's a little slow, but, I can't really tell. Side note, tho: A girl at the store the new charger came from, said that long chargers, which is what I had, tend to burn out faster. I think that might have caused some issues with my phone, but then again I've had this problem with the 6, some Android phones, and some LG tablets. Does anyone know what it could be? I also had to clean my charger port. It had the black gunk stuff in there and was causing black lines on my chargers. I cleaned it out the best I could manage. What do you guys think it could be? I know Apple trends to have a list of issues with phones not charging, so, I'm not going to assume that it's automatically any one thing I come across from googling.

I need help with this?

I have been noticing on my iPhone 7 Plus where it says update Apple ID settings and then when I tap on it it says some account services require you to sign in again. Why is it saying that? We had to get a new router put in for our internet so does that have something to do with why it's saying that?

Dropped phone in toilet?

Alright, so exactly 2 weeks ago i dropped my iphone 8 plus in my toilet for all of a second and a half right before i had to leave for work. It slipped out of my back pocket, i immediately grabbed it out and dried it off. Changed the case, used a clorox wipe to get rid of any bacteria and did a quick internet search and it said my phone should be fine.

my phone worked good all day until i got home when i started to notice an increasingly bigger patch of something under my screen. I began to panic. I did some more research and found out that my phone did somehow get water damage. After further analysis i figured out the screen replacement i had done by Best Buy four months ago probably voided the waterproof seal on my phone. I stuck it in a bag of rice for 36 hours, took it out, and it was good as new. Water was gone, audio, cameras, and screens were functioning perfectly. I was relieved.

and then, last night i started to notice an imprint under my screen from where the water marks were two weeks ago. My phone is still working perfectly fine, and i have to have full brightness on and be on a white screen to see the marks but nonetheless, they're there.

does anyone know if this is harmful? Do i need to have this fixed? Will my phone stop functioning soon? I can't afford a new one at the moment so if there's any affordable way to fix it i'm all ears.

I have an iPhone XS and pictures look weird?

I have dark under eye circles, I use color corrector and concealer and although, it seems to brighten my undereye area in real life, my undereyes still look hollow and dark in photos. Is there any way (besides editting) that I can deal with this issue? I often take pictures with friends and can't edit it every time on their phones. Any tips?

IPhone 8 won't stay connected to Wi-Fi?

It keeps disconnecting, no matter what Wi-Fi I'm using. When I go to reconnect, it tells me I have the wrong password and won't let me log back in. (it reconnects several minutes later).

It even has trouble using data when I'm not near Wi-Fi. The problem persisted after I upgraded to iOS 13. Any ideas what is causing this or how to fix it? The phone is only a few months old.

Added (1). To be more specific, this happens anywhere, not just at my house. It happens at work, at my friend's and sister's house, etc. It's a problem with my phone, not with the Wi-Fi itself.

Why is my iPhone screen popping from the opposite side of the battery?

So I noticed today a slight pop on my screen, a slight curve upwards when I saw that the top right side didn't fit my case.
My IPhone5s has the power button on top of the curve I'm Talking about and the sound buttons on its left. That's where the battery is supposed to be too so I don't think it's caused by a swollen battery, any clue on what it could be and if it's dangerous?

My iphone xs max was stolen in San Francisco?

I was walking home and was a minute away from my apartment when some guy on a BMX bike came by and swooped my iPhone from my hands. I immediately asked a kind stranger to call the cops and filed a police report. I put he phone in Lost mode and erased all content and settings. I didn't purchase theft insurance with Apple Care+ (so many regrets) and am filing a claim with my credit card company for purchase protection up to $500.
